IN MOST CASES, WE CAN USE YOUR EXISTING WAX MOLDS ! **

We add an adaptor plate to the outside of your mold to accept our ZyraFoam™ gating interface, so we can inject the foam through your existing wax runner system.

The shrink factor for ZyraFoam™ is equal to the rate commonly used for wax patterns (1-2%). And we can adjust pattern shrinkage slightly by adjusting our process parameters if we need to tweak dimensions.

Foundries interested in a trial program will often ship us a mold so we can produce ZyraFoam™ foam patterns for them to prove out.

We would be pleased to provide a quote for your program. ZyraFoam™ can be processed the same way as QuickCast® and other 3D printed patterns. So if you are already familiar with that, you should have no problem making good shells and castings.
